Gas Works.

Last week we picked J up from work and headed out to Gas Works Park. We took the kite and immediately decided we need more than one kite for this family of four.

Ruby was there too, refusing to have her picture taken.

Garden, etc.

The garden went crazy while we were in Kentucky and we came back to overflowing planters. We are still waiting for the tomatoes-not quite hot enough yet. We pulled some beets, cooked them, and sliced thinly with a little olive oil and salt and pepper to share with the neighbors.

Silas has completed two camps and will start his final one next week. Then we are home for a week and then the Oregon Coast for a week. Ruby is potty trained and that makes everyone very happy. So long diapers, hope I never change another!
